Registration
- Role-based balance: If you register as a single dancer, we will do our best to pair you with someone.
- Couple registration: If you register as a couple, you may register at different levels.
- Binding registration: Registration is binding.
- Allstars and champion registrations: The first 16 registrants will be eligible for a free pass in return for judging as a quid pro quo.
- Level adjustments: If you register for a higher level than your WSDC number indicates, you will automatically be transferred to your actual level for classes. (It is possible to register for a lower level if you prefer to attend those classes instead).
- Audition: There will be an opportunity to audition for a higher level at the event. Please respect the pros' judgments.
- Pass winners: Please register and write in the comments that you are a pass winner and at which event you won the pass. If this is not possible, email us these details instead. If you have a party pass, you can upgrade it to a full pass for 600 SEK.
- GDPR: According to the data protection law within the EU (GDPR), we need your personal information and consent to allow us to use digital services such as sending information about the event to you, individual offers, etc. You always have the right to see what information has been stored about you in our register. If you want to know this information, just email us.
- Media: There will be both filming and photographing at the event. Some of these might be published publicly on the internet. If you do NOT want your picture to be public, please inform the photographer at that time.
By buying a ticket, you consent to and are aware that your picture might be published on the internet.
Payments
- Once you have been accepted into the event, you will receive an email regarding this. Always check your spam folder.
- To confirm your registration and save your spot, you are required to pay within 30 days (14 days from January 1, 2024) of receiving your payment instructions via email. Otherwise, N:xt Level Swing reserves the right to move you to the waiting list. Note that a purchase of a ticket is binding until payment is complete. If you need more time to pay, just contact us.
- International payments are to be made by card payment. Payments within Sweden can be made by card or BankGiro.
Refund policy
- Tickets are non-refundable.'
- You can transfer your ticket, but only in the same dance role (leaders to leaders and followers to followers).
- Level changes in transfers are only possible if there is a spot available. Please contact us to check this before you transfer your ticket.
- Always contact us with information about a transfer, including your name, registration, and the new participant's name when transferring a ticket.
- If you present a medical certificate showing that you got a sudden illness just before the event, your ticket can be transferred to the next year's event, or your fee will be refunded if you prefer.
Good to know
- Hotel regulations: Outside food is not permitted in the lounge area according to hotel policy but may be eaten in your room.
- Alcohol policy in Sweden: It is not permitted to bring alcohol outside of the bar area (i.e., the bar room). This is due to government regulations, and inspections are made regularly. Please respect this, or the hotel might lose its license.
- Video recording and photography: Video recording and photography are welcomed during contests. Video recordings are restricted during workshops and depend on the instructors, so please ask them beforehand if you want to film during a lecture. Good internet etiquette stipulates that you get permission from people in the picture if you want to publish identifiable photos.
The event has an official photographer. If you do not want to be in a picture or have the pictures published online, please inform the photographer. - Competition refunds: Competition refunds may be requested before the registration closes. No refunds are available thereafter.
- Dance floor rules: No foreign substances such as (but not limited to) wax may be used on your shoes on the dance floors.
- Wristbands: Your wristband tickets must be worn at all times.
- Instructor changes: N:xt Level Swing reserves the right to change instructors if necessary.
- Schedule changes: N:xt Level Swing reserves the right to change and adjust the schedule if necessary.
- Disclaimer: You are entering an event with physical activities and understand the risks that this entails. Therefore, you agree not to hold N:xt Level Swing or any of its representatives responsible for any liabilities that might occur through accidents or illnesses.
- Disclaimer: The event and hotel staff reserve the right to warn and/or remove any person who represents potential harm or danger to themselves or any person around them during the event.
- Disclaimer: Neither N:xt Level Swing nor the hotel is responsible for any loss or damage to items. Therefore, please ensure that you have adequate personal insurance to cover expenses that might arise.
GENERAL rules for participants
- Exhibit good sportsmanship above all.
- Be respectful towards the staff, your fellow dancers, partners, and competitors.
- Be mindful of your dance partner during your dances and take care of each other.
- Check in 15 minutes before your competition with the competition marshals.
